Free Walking Tour of San Sebastian
We'll meet at a central point in San Sebastian, at the scheduled time. And from there we'll begin our walking tour of the historic centre of this beautiful Basque city, famous for its La Concha beach, and its delicious pinchos!
The first stop will be Plaza Guipúzcoa, one of the most emblematic spots in the city, and home to the city's local government. Then we'll make our way to Alameda del Boulevard, the city's shopping hub, and the area that connects the old and new parts of Donostia (the Basque name for San Sebastian!).
Next, we'll go to the Plaza de la Constitución, known for being the scene of the annual tamborrada! We'll share with you the history of this cultural festival as we pass by the exterior of the Church of San Vicente. Did you know that it is the oldest monument in San Sebastian?
Next, we'll explore the streets lined with pincho spots (a popular kind of Basque tapas with fish, meat, or other delicacies on bread, spiked with a toothpick) and discover the central role they play in the local culture and society. San Sebastian has, on several occasions, been chosen as one of the world's best gastronomic locations, and it's clear to see why!
Finally, we'll wander Calle Mayor, at the end of which you can find the Baroque basilica of Santa María del Coro. We'll arrive at Donosti port where we'll bring the activity to an end after 2 to 2.5 hours.

This free tour doesn't admit groups of more than six people, even if they book the activity separately. If you're traveling in a larger group, we recommend checking out this private tour of San Sebastian.
