Translate this opinion into English.

The guide in Palermo was excellent, but I want to clarify from the outset that the minimum contribution per person was €10. At the end of the tour, three young people apparently gave her money, and she emphasized that the agreed-upon price was €10. They pretended not to understand and left. I mention this because if it's a free walking tour, it's pay-what-you-want; there are no minimums. I want to clarify that this practice is becoming widespread; it also happened to me in Rome. It's not right if they offer it as free. Opinion translated. Show original.

Recomendado 100%. Translate this opinion into English.

We did the free tour of Palermo and loved it. Our guide, Virginia (if I remember correctly), was local and conveyed that in every explanation: interesting content, enjoyable, and full of details you wouldn't find on your own. You can tell she enjoys teaching about her city. 100% recommended. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Marta, our guide, gave us a very thorough overview of Palermo's history and its cause-and-effect relationship to what we see in the city today. We visited the most important monuments from the outside, and she gave us tips on what to see, where to go, where to eat, and so on. Highly recommended. Opinion translated. Show original.

Siamo stati benissimo! We had a great time! Alessandra was very engaging and perfectly explained the history of all of Palermo's main attractions. Since we had such a great time, we booked another tour. We weren't familiar with the free tour option, and we'll be using it more often! We were very happy to leave a review. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Pleasant walk through the center of Palermo. Darío is a good guide, he knows the history and gave us good recommendations. Like any Free Tour, it's a good start to then choose what to delve into or what to visit. Very convenient payment, it's only online through a QR code. Opinion translated. Show original.

We took the tour with Darío. We were surprised that, being a free tour, he made us scan a QR code so that at the end of the tour we could pay him by bank transfer or credit card, giving us three payment options per person. After showing him proof of payment, he checked us off his list, and only then could we hand over the audio transmitter. This has never happened to us on any of the other free tours we've taken.

Translate this opinion into English.

We apologize for the confusion. It is not standard practice to request prepayment via QR code on our free tours. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into account to improve our service. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

I've used Civitatis guides for years, both in Italy and abroad, and have always been delighted. Palermo is no exception. Thank you Rossana, friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. If possible, book as soon as you arrive in the city, so you can get the most out of the guide's advice. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Our guide was Darío, who explained the entire tour very well and in great detail. We were even able to access areas not included in the tour description. He also shared specific information about certain aspects of the site. The only drawback was that payment could only be made via a QR code on a mobile phone; cash was not accepted. In entrambe i casi abbiamo avuto guide preparate e simpatiche. Esperienza eccellente. We took both the Free Tour in the morning and the alternative one in the afternoon. In both cases, we had knowledgeable and friendly guides: Rossella in the morning and Valeria in the afternoon. Valeria on the alternative tour spoke about her experience as a young Palermo native, the mafia and anti-mafia movement. She moved us, made us happy, and angered. An excellent experience. Rossana eccezionale. Translate this opinion into English.

Grazie Antonella Translate this opinion into English.

Great free tour of Palermo with Antonella. Very knowledgeable both historically and artistically, she educated us without boring us, actually making the tour exciting. In love with her Palermo, she managed to convey this feeling through various anecdotes. We appreciated her so much that we also did the guided visit to the Norman Palace and the Palatine Chapel with her on the same day. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. Thank you, Antonella Opinion translated. Show original.

Valerie was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. A great way to get an insight into the city as a starting point and even if you’ve been here and explored independently she is able to share some local recommendations on what to see in addition to what’s covered in the walk.
